One-In-Teen Youth Services, Inc. seeks adults willing to volunteer their time to support and assist the future of our community --- GLBT youth.  We are seeking volunteers for the Nashville Wednesday evening peer group and social events usually on the weekends.  The long-term goal is to recruit adult volunteers that will assist in the organization of new peer support groups in Clarksville, Columbia, and Murfreesboro.

One-In-Teen strives for ethnic and gender diversity in our volunteer staff.  All interested persons are encouraged to apply.

The volunteer staff is divided into 2 categories based on the volunteer's age and responsibilities.

One-In-Teen has a standard process for volunteer applicants. The youth membership interview, select, and dismiss all members of the volunteer staff. The first step in the process requires a potential volunteer to write a letter of interest explaining her/his reasons for wanting to volunteer and the strengths s/he would bring to the program.

The One-In-Teen Peer Counselor program offers leadership and volunteer opportunities for experienced youth leaders under age 21.
